kwmLab is a small software practice. We take products from the awkward middle — the point where a prototype has outgrown itself but a rewrite would be madness — and get them to something you can staff, sell and sleep through.
Most of what we do is unglamorous and decisive: drawing a boundary where there wasn't one, deleting a service nobody needed, making the build honest about what it ships. The interesting work is rarely the new feature. It is the thing that made the new feature take three days instead of three weeks.
We work in the open with the people who will maintain the result. No handover cliff, no repository nobody can run. If we finish and your team cannot change what we built without us, we did not finish.
